Design and Portability
The Matrice 4 at just 2.14 kg (body only) is dramatically lighter than the 6.47 kg Matrice 350 RTK. The foldable design means the M4 fits in a standard backpack. However, the M350's larger frame provides better stability in high winds (tested up to 15 m/s vs the M4's 12 m/s) and supports heavier payloads including the Zenmuse L2 LiDAR.
Camera and Sensors
The Matrice 4T comes with an integrated quad-sensor setup: wide camera, zoom (up to 56x hybrid), thermal (640x512 LWIR), and laser rangefinder. The M350 RTK uses interchangeable Zenmuse payloads giving more flexibility but each gimbal costs 3,000-15,000 EUR.
